Another deadbeat company?

Stonebridge National is evading me about payment. I call and email but they either don't respond or give me the run-around. I ask them all I want to know is when I can expect payment. They don't tell me. It doesn't look good. I'm going to keep calling and pestering them until they send me my payment. Stonebridge is not on SC. I feel sorry for the next company that calls me. I will grill them good. Every company will have to pay me up front, I don't care if they have one star or four. I'm glad I have other income. Just thought everyone would like to know about Stonebridge.

It looks like they are the mtg broker not title company. Have you looked at the HUD to verify who funded the loan?

No, but I will. I tried to enter them in SC, but it said they were already in there. I couldn't find them. I even used the search bar. It's just so many company's are hurting now, I think that's the reason they are not paying notaries. Well, it was a good business while it lasted.

OK, I know who funded the loan. Now what? I guess I will try calling them tomorrow and see if that does any good. Thanks for the suggestion.

Make sure your mortgage/DOT recorded - the loan may have funded but was it the loan YOU did? I'd get a copy of the recorded mortgage/DOT in my hands to prove the loan I had signed did fund, then do a demand letter - both to company and to title.

C'mon Dixie...you've been in business long enough to know how to do this...

When did you do the closing?? How long has it been?

You probably are in the wrong line of work.

You may want to consider restricting yourself to jobs with a regular paycheck.
