Took me four months for a previous assignment, but I just received a check for my last one within 30 days. Bea swore to me that they had overcome their issues, so maybe they are indeed trying.

Aside from being a low ball ss. Bea does not tell the truth, nor does she pay NOW!!!
I still have a $50 invoive from Feb 2010. She told me ehe could not pay it at the time beacuse she had been in the hospiltal. Hasn't paid as of today.
Incase she reads this,
Hey Bea, it's Sid Johnson in Weatherford Tx. How about payment??? I'm not wasting my time on you anymore.

I too have talked to Bea many times. She told me she has

NOTHING to do with payments. She is just an employee. I am owed from Mar 2010. Bea told me that this time period no one got paid, but from then on they have paid their notaries. Who knows. I'm sick of it.

I took a closing from them and was paid.

I accepted it based on the star rating. Afterward I actually opened the comments and quickly realized that 5 star ratings for two years and 1 star ratings for 1 year equal a 3.5 star rating! The rating system should be reviewed and only represent the last 18 months or so.

Re: I took a closing from them and was paid.

I told her that I was cancelling because of her bad rep here, she responded:

" There are no problems with payment of these Citi Mortgage signings."

Well maybe no problems with payment to her but the problems is payments to the notaries.

Re: I took a closing from them and was paid.

I did a signing for them, my first one as a matter of fact. Was a little worried and confronted Bea about the ratings. She said there had been problems, but that they had straightened them out. I did the signing, got paid as promised. Great to work with. I would love to work with Bea again. I hope she calls again soon.

Re: I took a closing from them and was paid.

I think changing the ratings to only recent info would be too arbitrary and prefer to see it left as is. I believe the answer is in your previous sentence. We need to look at more than the stars, then we need to make our own judgments. I not only look at the comments, I also do a search on the forum, in case there's something that isn't linked - and I often find things.

As someone else said, we should know to weight more recent comments more heavily, since so much has changed within our industry.
