Re: Document mills video....wow!!!

My friend got her mortgage adjusted after months and months of trying to negotiate a loan mod with her bank. NACA was successful in helping her get that Mod and it saved her home. No fees!

OMG! Thanks for this valuable post. Just think, we have a

duty as notaries to verify identification & prevent fraud. That's kind of joke in this whole scenario, isn't it? LOL

Losing one's home is no laughing matter.

Banks don't usually arbitarily take homes if the person has

been diligently making their payments as they have promised.

If a person stops making their mortgage payments - regardless of the reason - the bank has a right to foreclose.

That said, if the bank wants to cheat, lie and steal to get the house back, and commit monetary and notarial fraud, then the bank should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Big banks should not be exempt from the law, just like the borrowers shouldn't be.

There have been banks that foreclosed on homeowners

even though they've been paying their mortgages, on time.

Do the research....

Some members have posted links to various news articles and sources....

These are flukes, though. Banks do not randomly

select houses to foreclose on. Yes, there have been homes wrongfully foreclosed on - but that may represent 1% of all foreclosures.

But, if it were your home, would you really care that they

represented only "1%" of all foreclosures?

Yep..not for nothing but BofA has been on record

for foreclosing on homes where there wasn't even a mortgage! The property was owned outright...

This is a story about robo-signing, whether they were

notaries or not. Given a title of bank Vice President. Fraud, fraud, fraud!

Is CBS 60 minutes saying that the real reason the country has so many foreclosures is that the documentation was screwed up? The reason people get foreclosed is "You pay you stay, you don't you won't. JMHO
