FASS
Apparently I have been dumped by them and a little upset by this. I don't understand what I did. I sent them an email asking why I couldn't log into my account but no reply. After researching this on here I see that they do that alot, dump you for no apparent reason and won't give you an answer as to why. They were keeping me busy and would like to stay that way. Will they ever call you back? Should I just not worry about them and hopefully some other signing service will call.

Maybe your fees are too high for them now?

Several on this board can commiserate with you. I wouldn't spend another nanosecond feeling bad about it. They are fasstly losing ground. Move on, you'll find other resources that are easier to work with and will pay you more to do FirstAm work. A lot of fa eos shudder to use FASS to handle their valuable clients

I worked for them for a couple years, got dumped because I wouldn't get my background check done through the company that THEY wanted, then they must have gotten desperate (since I'm one of only a couple notaries in my area), because they started to use me consistently again. However, I haven't heard from them in probably 6 or 8 months, so it appears I may have been dumped once again...this time for no known reason. I have never been short-paid for any closing for them, so I know it's nothing related to quality or performance. If someone else would like their hassle and low pay, they can have 'em!

They dumped me and I don't know why. I had completed several hundred signings for them over several years and they were a good company. However, their White Gloves program was beginning to be a real pain and their fee cutting even worse. Move on and let the newbies handle their crap.

Here's my take on it. Over the years, I have butted heads with, not only FASS, but some other companys as well. I yelled, "I will never work for you again" and they yelled, "they didn't want me to work for them either". OK, fine. But guess what... they call me again and all is forgotten. And so it is with FASS. At the time we have our blowout, they say they will not use me again. OK, no problem. But then, eventually they do call again. The moral of this story is, don't sweat the small stuff. Just keep trucking.

The mysteries of FASS are deep and hidden, and aren't
worth a second thought. (This 'call' may be recorded.)

Re: FASS (Your base fees probably too high)
I was locked out as a white glove agent over a year ago. When I called, they informed me that my base fee was too high. Since then I still receive calls for my old base fee but still do not have white glove status on the website. You will probably still get calls but you will not be able to snag business off the website. Good luck.

Re: FASS (Your base fees probably too high)
I had a closing that didn't go so well, through no fault of my own, and only got two calls after that from them, and haven't heard from them in a while. The comments on here about them going down certainly do make me feel a little better....

Re: FASS (Your base fees probably too high)
and I was dropped by them also after doing hundreds of closings...I did nothing wrong...don't worry as you will get more business from other companies that pay higher....I will not accept any future assignments from them if they offer.

I come and go off the White Glove status. You'll get an ominous email about supposedly something you did to screw up. The ironic thing is that they say "it is not meant as a disciplinary action" yet you get your knuckles beat with a ruler nonetheless. My first disciplinary action was because I had called the borrowers within 24 hours but had neglected to update the webpage. True, my fault. Second time that lost me "white glove" was closing at the borrower's place of business and they didn't have a cancelled check for the auto-pay page. Since all the routing/account numbers were accurate, I put it through. Sure enough I got a ding for that. If it's not meant to be disciplinary, why do we get disciplined so harshly?
Okay, so I can't snag appointments off their webpage. Big deal. I'm so busy I don't have time to sit and watch their webpage every minute of the day for closings anyway.
