Genuine Title - AKA Safir Signing Agents

Thank you NotRoters for your SC comments! After reading all of their bad publicity in SC I just turned back a signing appointment to Genuine Title - AKA Safir Signing Agents. Genuine has no West Coast presence in SC, so I don't think that I'm giving up much.

The Genuine scheduler swears that all invoices have been paid, albeit payments have been slow at times. Has anything about Genuine changed? Have any of you SA been paid since writing comments about Genuine in SC? If so, you should say so in SC.

The NotRot Signing Central is a very valuable tool for us Signing Agents. I told Genuine exactly why I refused to work for them. I think its important for non-paying and/or slow paying companies to hear what is being said about their business practices in SC and other SA forums. Perhaps they will take action to correct the situation and make amends (pay their invoices) with those SA hurt by shoddy business practices. Otherwise nothing will change with such companies and SC will be relegated to nothing more than a gossip pit for whining malcontents.

IME, the deadbeats, cheats & liars will always tell you they pay. They'll tell you anything to get you to take the signing. You can always ask for payment upfront via Paypal. That's the only way I work for cos. with bad payment reps.

The schedular you spoke with is a liar. They still owe me. If they pay me I'll post in signing central.

Re: OP now linked :-)

If you click on the OP you will see a blue "Link" button. By clicking on that anyone can see the company information, other linked posts, and the ratings in SC for the specific company.

You can tell if a message has been linked by looking at the messages on the board. To the left of the OP in each thread you will see either a "paper" symbol (post not linked) or an "infinity" or "chain" symbol (linked posts).

In addition, I believe you have to be logged in to see the link.

Re: OP now linked :-)

There weren't any links in any message until I logged in. Logged back out and they were still showing. What's with that?

I've worked for this co. twice and had the very same late pmt problem each time. Phone messages are generally ignored when I call about paychecks. Makes me think it's not worth my time.

After 2 such experiences, I came to the same conclusion. No more.

I received a call from Shannan and she emailed me the docs. Being a notary for 8 years I had a feeling about this so I did a search. Found the negative comments and emailed her back saying she could pay via my web site and I will be willing to do the service. She declined. Needless to say it looks like this "company" is a non-payer.
