Hopeless Scavenger Signing Agent Directories Spam
I am being spammed over new signing agent directories that are virtually hopeless of competing with Notary Rotary and other well established directories. I offer my outstanding advice to them they have virtually no hope and that we SA's aren't interested in paying any more fees, being perfectly happy with Notary Rotary as the industry standard directory.
You can tell how much traffic a website has by activating Google's site importance meter. If it has a "0" rating it means it's a new site trying to fool you to sign up and pay a fee while they have no presence whatsoever.
Notary Rotary is an outstanding directory and as long as it's in operation, no other directory stands a chance competing with it. Poor fools better get a real job.

All you have to do is key word their "notaries"
Most of these new companies are starting out in a particular area of services (usually their home state) in hopes of expanding into other states.
I just got one from a company whose website shows it was created in 2004 but it only has a handful of people signed up and most are in CA. So, for the last 7 years what on earth have they been doing to advertise and gain business for their website?
Why would I want to pay them money in order to jump-start THEIR business??? They need the database of notaries, not visa versa. LOL
As to Ryan, good point, but most of the new companies are just testing the waters. It's hard to create a fee-paid website (of any kind) without having the benefits to go with it.
Just because they started a website, doesn't mean that they are actually promoting the information to outside user sources - they just want names & for a price. If they aren't out advertising that website to companies that will use it, well, you just spent x $ for basically nothing.
When closers sign up with us (for free, btw), it goes into a private database that is used to place qualified closers for our clients and closings.
We want to put people to WORK. Period.
