National Closing Solutions Rocklin CA

I'm researching all of the companies that I applied to since 2008. Is this company still in business?....nothing new in Signing Central since 2010.

As far as I know their doors are still open. They do only refis - mainly for CA CUs. Have you ever worked for them?

I have worked for NCS for years and they are a good company and are still in business although they have made drastic cutbacks in their staff and moved to a smaller location. They are a division of the largest and most profitable title/escrow company here in Placer County known as Placer Title Company. Their fees are decent also.

NCS is great company

They are great to work with but like all mortgage related companies they have scaled back to reflect todays reduced volumes. I personally know the management and visit them periodically. Good luck. Jack

Re: NCS is great company plus my closing philosophy

Thanks to all for your info. I haven't worked for them but I'm making a list of companies to contact again as my notary commission is expiring and I want to send an updated profile when my renewal comes through.

As a side note, I talked to my former "biggest competitor" this week, who initially was a full time closer, as I received a request for general notary work that was close by to where she lives, and gave her a call to see if she wanted to handle it. She said she's now out of the business because of low volume, low fees, and high gas prices and she was able to find a full time job. I'm going to stay with it just because I'm stubborn, and I have a part time job to fill the gap. Because I'm stubborn, I'm not lowering my fees either. Closing loans is a very demanding job requiring a lot of energy, organizational skills, people skills and technical skills. It's worth as much as a paralegal's pay per hour, plus the pricing per job must also cover overhead. That's how I calculate my fee per job and usually come up a little short because most jobs take more time than anticipated...however every once in a while there's a slam dunk that makes me smile all the way to the bank.
