Nations Direct
Good Day FaceBook Family
I received a call from them this morning for a refi signing within 20 miles of my area. But thanks to all of you in keeping up to date by reading your remarks daily I respectfully declined. I had never worked with them before. $40.00 for the signing and $20.00 for down loading 100 + pages twice??? WOW !!! You were right on. "Knowledge Is Power " Thanks....

LOL! Glad you avoided that train wreck! You were in for nothing but down-to-the-wire package receipt (if at all, and I've gotten it hours after the assignment time), handholding and micromanaging, then a looooooong wait for your $40 (which they would have paid, and that's the only nice thing I can say).
By the way, I have to believe it's in SC, but Global Notary is run the same way by the same people for the same lousy money. Good call!

Yup, you are right about Global. They call themselves the sister company to Nations Direct. I will say one good thing about Nations Direct. When I started, 7 years ago, I did hundreds of Nations Direct signings. I could call and get an answer whenever the 'newbie' was stumped. It was one of the best learning experiences I could have had. I was so grateful, I would occasionally do a signing for them if it was in my own town, and I had a 90.00 minimum in their system. Apparently their records on notaries are scrubbed occasionally, and that didn't last. I was a preferred agent for them in my area, and gave them a list of zip codes that I would service, way back when. Like I said, it was good for learning the docs and the system. I also took some courses and got some certifications while working for them. But now, I don't even answer the phone when they call. I would rather stay home and not pay for the gas. LOL
