Regarding Msg #365003.... Mortgage Connect....

$75 for a closing IMO is just sad and what's even sadder are those NSA's who are delusional to believe that that fee (w/fax backs no doubt) would or could sustain a profitable NSA biz...in today's market...

I received sign-up paperwork from this company recently, but after doing my research, and reading what they've been offering as far as fees, not to mention, laughing out loud at their independent contract agreement, wanting my car insurance information, driver's license....naaaaa, I'll pass...time to hit the shredder...

This company has been a large and very popular player in the SA industry, but I think that they are morphing into a low ball signing business. I was recently offered only $40.00 + $20.00 printing for a full doc refi. Anyone else feel the same about them?

They just called me about a mistake on an ALTA Affidavit,

and I haven't worked for them in a long time - they still owe me $$$.

Hope they find their errant Notary...it sure wasn't me.

Service Link is one of my favorites. Maybe it depends on the area, but they don't offer low ball fees when they call me. Occasionally, the scheduler will mention a fee of $XXX, and I have to remind them that I charge $XXX+. It's never been a problem, and the correct fee is always on the confirmation. They pay very well, and quickly.
