ServiceLink

Have not received many signing requests from ServiceLink in the last couple of months. Usually run anywhere from 10 to 15 a month before.
Anything happening that I am not aware of???

It's probably slow for them as is with everyone else. Have you tried to call some of the schedulers that call you? You know keep in touch.

$65???????

Was that a question or a statement A S? Because if it's true, I'm hoping (and giving this person the benefit of a doubt) that she's/he's doing that because he/she doesn't know better??????

If it's true nunu, please cease and desist! It's no wonder these companies are trying to degrade our whole industry when there are notaries out there that are letting them do this.

Next thing you know they'll be sending you on $45 closings (again, if it's true.) You shouldn't be charging ANY LESS than $100...$75+$25 print fee.

Get your print fee or send them the $35 because you're in it to lose...duh! Geesh!!!!!!!

Of course all of this is my VERY HUMBLE opinion. And I send this to those that ARE accepting these dispicable, degrading, reprehensible, (I could go on and on), etc., fees.

Re: $65???????

I have been working for FASS for a couple of years and they seem to keep me busy. I am sticking to my fee of 65 + 25 for the docs here in the DFW area. What is the going rate? 75? + 25 docs?

Re: $65???????

Weatherford, Tx area $75 signing fee, plus #35 printing package for signing in Parker Co.
Fax back fee if over 10 pgs, travel at $30 per 50 miles RT, office fee of $25 for title/att'y office.
My 1st signing
FASS was the 1st signing I did in May of 2000. They were good and I learned a lot. But when the new managmentg took over in about 2005 and started the low ball, "white glove" and the hand holding BS is when we parted ways.

Service Link closings

They must have several offices. I have sent them all my fee schedule and at one office a copy to each scheduler. Last week I had six signings from them, but some months I only get two or three. I discussed this with a title company in Dallas and they said that it seems to depend on where the lenders are concentrating their marketing. Then whichever title company they are using determines the signing service. So I don't take it personally when a particular title companies business for me tapers off.

I've done several this year, and they're meeting my fees same as always. Nothing unusual to report.
