Slow down with ServiceLink

Hello Everyone:

For those that work for Service Link have you noticed a major slow down with work from them? I was getting alot of wells Fargo and chase loans through them all of a sudden last month I got about 4 total! Then I look at the Clerks office and realize still many chase and Wells Fargo loans were done but not using Service Link??? Anyone know anything about this?? Any information would be great!! Guess I have to start singing up with more companies to get more work. Smile

I noticed the same thing with servicelink. Used to be quite busy with them-not so much lately. You always need to cast a wider net. Whenever things are slow-I sign up with more companies ( good ones of course) and I am always amazed by how many signing companies there are!

You are sooo correct, I am also a vendor for ServiceLink and last month I got three signings only. I was wondering also what's going on, very interesting to hear it's not just my concern. Curious to see what happens in May. I was doing quite a few signings for Wells Fargo and BOA. I heard they are scanning now through their listings for Notaries that are cheap? which is an awful thought. Just gossip I hope. If thats the case and these notaries are accepting assignments far away charging low rates, they are paying themselves out of their own pockets with no profit being made at all. Look at the gas in Calif. where I live the prices are notorious not including paper, toner, fax backs, and edocs with 150 plus pages making two copies per assignment, plus all other supplies require to do a professional and efficient job. Somebody needs to rattle their cage to "wake up"!!. Just venting Smile Have a great month.

I received a confirmation for a Chase loan last week. I noticed the special instructions stated a notary with Service Link was requested for this loan because she was doing three other loans with this borrower at the same time. I called the notary listed and ask her if she had received this order and she said she thought they were going to assign it to her as she had the borrowers other three and was going to have the fourth also. I called the signing service that called me and told them of the special instructions and was told they would have to check into it. They called back and said we were to have the fourth loan. I thought it was odd. About 15 minutes later the signing service called back and said the other notary would do the fourth loan.

There is a slow down in requests

At least from home owners. Apparently, loan requests for business and cars are up.

I have also had a slowdown. I did get a call today about them now having the preferred notaries? Also, asked me to fax back 93 pages of a Chase non owner occupied signing.
