Suggestions for New Notary
As experienced notaries, can you give me suggestions on errors that have been made in the past or things I should look out for so I do not make any mistakes. Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

We would need to write a book......know your State Notary Laws and know your documents.

Know what your services are WORTH and NEVER accept lowball pricing! Have a phone that accepts emails to respond quickly to job offers! Use the ORANGE SEARCH button like it is a third eye! Keep fellow notaries in the loop about companies you do work for that fail to pay you in a timely manner (or simply not pay at all). READ, READ and READ some more your state rules about being a notary public and follow them the the T! Lastly, this forum is THE best PLACE to get the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth (different styles however).

Start at the first message on this
forum and read to the very end. You can get the best education that is out there just from this forum.
BUT... you will need to discern who knows what they are talking about and those who don't. There are some very smart people on this board who really know their stuff and there are some people who think they know it all and don't know their ear from their elbow. It's up to you to figure out who is which.

Study posting number 33325. It is a bit outdated, but still contains a lot of good, useful, worthwhile information.
