Send me your email address and I will forward a demand letter that worked with R&R.
They promised to never have issues with paying me again, but I gave them 2 chances and had to chase my money both times. When they call, I don't even answer.

YIKES...
Ouch, ewww, grrr...I don't understand. Can someone please tell my why, if you are a member of this group or the other major ones, WHY are you continuing to keep these thieves (IMHO-this includes Speedy Closings, Sox, Cogent, etc. etc.) in business?
If you had to join this group for that reason, then I'm sorry for your inconvenience and I sincerely hope that you get paid. But if you were a member of this group and got *$%?^%*#, then well, um, er, echem, I guess the unfortunate thing for you is that you get to be a power of example, the fortunate thing for us all is that hopefully it won't happen again and soon, they'll be out of business. So thanks for losing out for the rest of us.
Sorry (my heart really does go out to you)...I sincerely believe that But for the Grace of G*d, there go I. I would hope it wouldn't happen to me, but far be it for me to think I'm above it....just my very humble opinion.

Re: YIKES...
I appreciate your point; yes, I am a member of this forum, and unfortunately I was in-between closings, very busy that day, and referred the job to my husband to complete because my day was full. When I got back at the end of the day, and did my search here and on other forums that will remain nameless, I was less than thrilled; however, I was assured by Rob that I would be paid for this cash deal two weeks. At that point, it is what it is. Rob, from R&R obviously did not keep his word, so I will start collection. I use this forum regularly for information, and post very little. 13 years and only 5 companies that have stiffed me is not bad so while I appreciate your comments and your opinion, it happens. By the way, the other companies that stiffed me went out of business in 2008 and 2009 due to the market melt down...they used to pay like clock work. I have not worked for SOX since 2003, I have never been called by Cogent. I primarily work title direct and find that by far that is the best way to work.
So, long story short is.....even though I have been successfully in business for a long while, and even if I am busy; from now on I will most certainly check regardless of where I am or what I am doing at the time. I let my guard down one time, and I got burned. You are right, this is a lesson that you can never get complacent for any reason, EVER with signing services.
R&R won't be out of business as long as RELS title keeps using them to schedule their closings. I do hold this title company somewhat responsible for using this company knowing they do what they do.

Jane I apologize...
I'm sorry, when I was saying you, I meant in the third person. It was not directed at you, it was meant as a collective reproach to all of us that have to get burned!!!
My heart really does go out to you. May they get what they deserve...(oh, and you too...lol...your PAY!!!)
