Wilson Jones Journal of Notarial Acts

Has anyone ever used the Wilson Jones Journal of Notarial Acts?

http://www.amazon.com/Wilson-Jones-Journal-Notarial-Numbered/dp/B000083GGW

This journal is consistently the most expensive on the market... I'm just wondering if there is anything particularly wonderful about it. From what I can tell, it doesn't even have a column to write the signer's name.

One of the customer's reveiws reads as follows...." Worthless, do not buy
This journal does not have a place for thumbprints which renders it useless for half of all notarial acts out there. What good is a notary journal that could not record all notarial acts? This fact alone means the journal is a defective product. Do not buy if you need to record thumbprints as well. "

That doesn't matter to me, Florida doesn't require

fingerprints and I do not take them.

Looks like it's more expensive because it uses

heavier paper and it looks like it's hardcover....

I, personally, don't care for the setup...I like my MoJo bought right here.

Now that I've gotten used to the design, I have to admit that I really love the NotRot journal. Took me a bit to get used to, but once I did, it's great.

Re: That doesn't matter to me, Florida doesn't require

Washington doesn't require thumbprints either, and I get one unless the signer objects, in which case, they get to write refused and sign it in the thumbprint box.

Just because something isn't required doesn't mean it isn't a good practice to maintain. Heck, in Washington we're not even required to keep a journal at all.
