Just me, but no way would I give any SS my bank account information; you never know where it may end up.
It's the same reason you should NEVER give them your SSN; always protect yourself by using an EIN for all of your notary business dealings.

You are giving your bank account information every time you write a check.

I have a few who pay that way. My problem--until I started online banking--was that I really didn't know if/when it was deposited. With online banking, I can request Bank to send me an e-mail or text message when deposit arrives. That made a huge difference to me. I've experienced no problems with this direct deposit method (other than the slow-pays which come late anyway).

That's what I do. It's not a regular thing, so I don't
believe I'm 'gaming' PayPal. I'm really happy with my PayPal experiences.

I have one tc that does direct deposit & I love it. I also have a couple of ss that pay through PayPal. I transfer the funds to my checking acct. when they are available. No problems in either situation.
