Another Crazy night..
Last two days worse I've seen in months.. Just gave up another because doc's are two hours late and have two more appointments with docs already.
Not taking anymore for tomorrow, just do what is scheduled and that is it.

My crazy day was yesterday - had six closings and gave one back due to no docs and could not wait any longer because I had other appointments with docs in hand. Turned down several more for yesterday because I was already booked well in advance with regular clients. Have one for tonight at 7 PM - I have docs but traffic is going to be a bear. I'm allowing double the normal time it would take to get there and am taking back roads. I have one closing on Wednesday AM and then I am taking a 4.5 day holiday weekend.

Yup roads and supermarkets are nuts right now
I should be done by 4pm tomorrow if all goes well (3 closings)and off to upstate NY till Saturday and a couple of days in AC taking extra day since nothing is booked.
I turned down 4 today and gave one back because of the late docs, tomorrows all from one of my main clients doc's all depend on the bank.

Heading up to the finger lakes and wine country area, my in-laws own a BnB on the lake. Yeah I know about this time of the year and up there. Last year they came down here for Xmas and we got 3 feet of snow the day after down the shore.
We have been snowed in and one time had to get a hotel in Scranton because of bad weather.

Come on guys…I applaud your success (me and the IRS) but the fact that you are busy (you could just say... busy?) is just great…but it may give the wrong impression to the thousands of newbie’s that are out there struggling. If you need a pat on the back…consider it given! When you get paid, and the check clears, you have my sincere admiration!!!! And some $ for your efforts.

Another Crazy night..
WoW! I was busy Monday & Today with month end biz! However, after so many years in this biz, I've learned to shut down my services at 12:00 Noon on the day before Thanksgiving. Why you may ask? It's because the entire Pacific Northwest turns into a total parking lot from Noon until about 7:00 PM with the holiday travel. I-5, I-405, major N-S & E-W state route highways and even surface streets go nuts! It's just not worth the aggravation fighting traffic and begging for doc's in order to complete signing assignments in a timely manner. One year I had a mortgage LO & LPO beg me to sign a couple only 30 minutes from my home. Well, with stop and go freeway traffic and with the signing time, the job turned into a 4 hour ordeal. Bah Humbug! No more Mr. Nice Guy!

Busiest phone for local-to-harder-miles in a while. We're
having a strongwinded, plenty rainful and punch-drunk.
All travel is Advisory; every/one/thing is on Red Alert here along the NW'ern Coast.
So, very happy to be retired, with a new focus on different work.
Happy Holiday of Thanks and Giving to one and all of this traveling workers' families and friends.
[Look forward to triptophanning the nap fantastic...]

Totally agree, and same for Christmas and New Years holidays. And even then I will limit to my zip code due to traffic issues.

Oh believe me there have been plenty of times where I am just twiddling my thumbs with no work and others are saying how busy they are! LOL! My closing last night - they were readers! One and a half hours at the table - UGH!
