Background Check from Notary Rotary
Anyone ever order a background check from them? I called the number on my receipt and it rolls into a fax machine. So annoying. I ordered my report on the 27th of October.

I don't have a bcg from NotRot, but the one I do have took 12 days to come back, and I'm squeaky clean. It's only been 6 days technically. Have you tried emailing to ask about it? I know most places I looked said anywhere from 7-14 days, before I knew that NotRot actually does offer the service.

By now, Harry's booked a flight to Tahiti on your dime
Next time, run a background check on the background checker. Knowing Harry, he's sipping rum out of a coconut shell and sending "thank yous" your way.

Don't worry yet--they take a while.
I can't remember where I got mine from, but being an adoptive family, we've had a bunch of background checks done for home and work (my husband is in corrections so he gets them too). They always take 2-3 weeks it seems.

Mine took about a week, and the cost was rolled into the NNA NSA signing course I bought.

Re: Background Check from NR - be patient
Christina, remember the web page states that it usually takes 3-5 BUSINESS days, but may take longer in some instances. Check your status on the internet using the order number and pass code on your order confirmation email. FWIW, I ordered mine on the 17th of October. This past Monday I called the toll-free number listed under Contact Us on the background check page. Spoke with and gave my information to a very nice gentlemen (sorry, don't remember his name), and within 2-3 hours got a call back from the individual who actually processes the background checks (she was not available when I originally called). I had my email with results--I passed--by the end of the day. For me, it sounds like they just got backed up with work.
