Search...bells ringing....u?

Isn't this the co. that 'buys' your home until you can get your delinquency straightened out or something like that.

Re: Bella homes G/B/U???

My .02 cents: You can Google this outfit and if only some of it is true, you really don't need their business unless you are really starving. You don't want to involve yourself with property transfer schemes in general. If even one of them results in litigation, you will spend much more that you earned testifying if you are only a witness. If you get sued along with every involved party, however, you will really enjoy it about as much as being awake during a colonoscopy.

Re: Bella homes G/B/U???

They buy your home and rent it to you until you can pay them back. I don't know how that works but when I accepted one the instructions said I was NOT to call the client (the homeowner in trouble). Sorry but I'm not going into anyones home under those circumstances. Just seems like your setting yourself up for a possible verbal slaughter.

I have a confirmation asking me to please call the client. The appointment time is one week out.

Re: Bella homes G/B/U???

To me, a big red flag goes up, when I see someone being asked to sign over their home to someone else. It may all work out in the end, but we all know how that goes. I don't want to be anywhere nearby when it all breaks loose.

Really just standard Notary work.

I have done a couple of these. Homeowners were very aware of what they were signing. One homeowner said that you never really own your home anyway so this way he can just stay there and rent it back. Not up to me to decide if its a good deal or not as long as they understand what they are signing. Did a lot of closings before the real estate crash that I thought were bad deals and they were with legitimate banks. Not my call.
