Just the name: What's a global notary? I'd like to be one. According to my commission, I can't leave the state boundaries of CA.

Oh I'm sorry I probably should have specified- it's a signing agency out of Floriday I believe.
Although I think if you became an "electronic notary" it might open the possibilities of doing work elsewhere and still be in CA. I'm in NC and I am stuck in the state myself eventhough I live very very close to a state line.

Hmac, GoldGirl is in a frolicking mood...
otherwise she would have strongly suggested you use the orange "search" button and visit the Signing Central tab; both will provide you a wealth of information about Global Notary.

He needs to go well beyond that
He needs to research electronic notarization before he winds up on the inside looking out for a good long spell.

HUH?!?!
<<<....doing work elsewhere and still be in CA...... I'm in NC......>>>
How are you in two places at once?
Electronic notarizing is ILLEGAL!!! The doc signer must appear in the PHYSICAL presence of the Notary. The doc signer CANNOT appear on a video monitor. "Personal appearance" means just that.....PERSONAL appearance.
