Yes, you did. I was born in Chicago and have lived in CA for more decades than I care to count... So maybe I should be doubly offended? Actually, I find any kind of demeaning comment to any broad category of people who truly have nothing more in common than their place of birth - or where they choose to live - to be in poor taste and an indicator of ignorance on the part of the speaker. Come on, Linda... You're better than that, aren't you?

As for your intentional political comment on this board after you've already been called on it (regardless of by whom), it shows disrespect to everyone on this board. (I won't comment on the nature of your remark itself because that would be inappropriate here.) Like I said, I think you know better than that.

Janet, if you are offended by my comments, you need to get thicker skin. Where do you think I live? I live in the land of #49 ILLINOIS dear. My sorrow extends to you for being born in IL and now live in CA. Yes you have been doubly cursed. I'm not going to go into any more on this forum about the politics of IL. Actually, I consider myself to be blessed, not cursed, so no need to expend any sorrow on my behalf... Besides, for what it's worth, I was kidding about being offended, hence the "wink/smiley".
