Maryland Independent Settlement Agents (TIPICS)

I don't think this is advertisment hopefully you all will enjoy this issue. I chair the Maryland Land Title Association's committee for Closing Agents and would appreciate anyone's input. Thanks Ilene

1. What are the chances of us being listed on the HUD1? (This may help with collections down the line, hopefully it wont be necessary)

2. And I personally dont understand why we MUST also put our address on the deed? Why isnt our license # and signature sufficient? Plus, most of us work from home and I know as a notary its public information but still its so intrusive. Will a PO Box suffice?
