Notary in CA with a website offering free listings for notaries and free 'looking' for companies. So, how is s/he making any money? Well, after 'free', comes premium listings for notaries. In other words, eventually, a pay-to-play new Directory.

Here is an e-mail I sent them. No reply, so far, but it was only a few hours ago.
It seems rather strange that you would send me a message saying how crowded the notaries are in my area when I am the only one in 25 miles. This appears to me to be false advertising in trying to get people who signed up to your "free" listing now to pay, when there is apparently no reason. Without an adequate explanation from you, I feel that the NNA should be advised of this action on your part. Lewis E. Prine, CNSA, NPBC

Don't blame you Lewis - you don't seem to have
a great deal of competiton in your area.
As for the statement about NNA - don't get it. The NNA has nothing to do with it and has no authority to do ANYTHING about it - I think you give them more credit than they deserve.

Report them to NNA? That's a good one. It appears
someone else has been deceived by the "false advertising" of that particular organization. :-(
