PA Notary Renewal

Hello!
My current commission expires on 3/12. Does anyone have experience in renewing in PA?

1. How soon in advance should I do it?
2. Should I do it through the company (NNA, etc) or on my own?
3. Should I apply for commission privately or through the business? (I was originally commissioned through my former employer).
4. What is the process like? (Online course, Application, Senator, Bond, Getting sworn) Did I forget anything?
5. Also, where can I get the cheapest bond and what kind do I need?

Contact the Pennsylvania Association of Notaries - they are one of the oldest and best notary associations in the country. You can renew through them, and they offer a wealth of training and notary information.
