S/L Vision Docs - Anyone Experiencing Problems?

Some time ago ServiceLink purchased a similar company called ATM and now it appears that the newly formed division (ServiceLink ATM) is using a program called Vision Docs to tansmit their loan packages. The "regular" Servicelink (that's what I call them) uses Alpha Trust, but there is a move on at S/L to get rid of that system due to the cost of $20 per package they incur each time they use it.

My question is: Is (or did) anyone have trouble actually opening the Closing packages from ATM when they are sent via Vision Docs? The closing agents at S/L are saying that many notaries have been having problems with this program, but no one sends out information on how to cure the situation. I end up having them send them to me via secure PDF's or via Alpha Trust, but the whole thing is a huge pain.

I have talked to their IT department (useless) and the only hint I got was to download Adobe X Reader which I did but it didn't help at all. I hace the full version of Acrobat 9 and that doesn't help either. Thanks.

I can open Vision with my applications (Adobe) but the problem is that there is only a partial image of the first page, then nothing. The Servicelink person has to send the entire document via email as a .pdf for me to be able to view or print. I think it is a problem with the Vision program when they use it to scan.

Well, you're doing better than I am - I only get a screen with a red X in the upper left-hand corner. They also send me the entire doc via email as a .pdf

I don't see why they have to use that, when there are so many other tried and true programs like Dynamic Dox or Guardian. I haven't had one hiccup with those programs.

I have had problems getting into the docs so they send me secure pdf/email docs. No one seems to know how to solve the problem. They only say, "It's because you have a mac." ??? PITA
