Thank You to Everyone

I just wanted to take a moment and thank you to everyone who goes online and posts comments and questions. I have had my license for awhile but still to this day I am constantly learning more and more. Thank you Everyone!

There are expert professional Notaries and attorneys who post on this forum that have a combined 100s of years experience. I thank you all for your imput.

There is no training or classes out there that can prepair us for all the unusuall things we encounter as NSA, it must come from experience and the experience and training are here in this forum.

I don't want to read about how many signings you have had today or this week or this month, I don't care and noone elce does either.

I don't want to read about how much money you have made today or this week or this year, I don't care and noone elce does either.

I want to know about your mistakes.

I want to know about the problems you have encountered and how you solved them.

I want to know about the unusuall situations you have encountered.

Maybe I can help you with your problems and maybe you can help me with mine.

Thanks to all for your help and imput, it is much appreciated.

Merry Christmas to all.

Buddy

I don't agree, Buddy, et al...

*I don't want to read about how many signings you have had today or this week or this month, I don't care and noone elce does either.......I don't want to read about how much money you have made today or this week or this year, I don't care and noone elce does either*

I don't know that I come here specifically to read about someone's number of signings, but if I'm bored by it I can flip past and go to the next post. No big deal.

I belong here so that I can mix with my kind, share my frustrations, hear the frustrations of others...share personal triumphs with my distant colleagues, and hear about theirs. I like hearing about the issues and problems, too.

I don't understand why someone talking about their day is a problem. All ears.....

I'm with you, Brenda!

I always think of this place as our "office" water cooler. No one else in my life gives two hoots about boring notary stuff. But we can identify with the trials, tribulations, challenges and just plain crazy situations that we find ourselves in. (Any doubts, read Marian Harmon's post above! Smile)

Also, I don't mind hearing about how many signings other notaries have done and how much money they're making. Personally, I don't feel comfortable sharing that information (I was raised to believe that it was a bit unseemly to discuss one's income), but I'll admit that I do sometimes find it inspiring to hear of others' successes and sometimes comforting to hear that others are facing challenges similar to my own.

One more thing... I couldn't help but feel that there's just a teensy bit of undertone in some of Buddy's post that implies the old "don't bother me with fluff, just tell me what you know..." Hopefully I just read it wrong.

Ditto. That's my primary reason for being a participant

on this site. Some of it is G/B/U, but for the most part we collectively put together a pretty good discussion forum, IMO. :-)
