Title Resource Group

I have been asked to sign an "Agreement" regarding confidentiality for this company. Has anyone else received this request and what do you think of the fact that they only show you the content from section 7.1 to the end? I do not feel comfortable signing anything that I can't read and furthermore, I would need an attorney to interpret it for me! Thanks.

Asked to sign agreement but only given part of it?

If that is really the case, obviously you shouldn't sign it. Who knows what you would be agreeing to! You could be agreeing to give them your first born child (which some might think is not a bad thing lol).

Go with your gut feeling on this one.

Re: Asked to sign agreement but only given part of it?

They pay nothing for closings and are a PIA to work for.

I did work for tham as a SS and they where fired by me.

You sure it's Title Resource Group and not Title Source?

I received one yesterday from Title Source. It was not cut off and I had no problem signing it.

Have never received this from TRG. As to my experience with them, great co. and will take all I can get. They met my fees, pay within 15 days. Schedulers have always been nice to work for.....sorry if others have had problems

Please read this carefully and

you will have the answer.
1. It is Title Source, Inc., not TRG.
2. The Service Agreement you signed to permit you to work for them has an attachment you signed bearing the heading "Exhibit A Nondisclosure Agreement" and it has 9 numbered paragraphs and no. 7 is "Return of Proprietary Information." What you were sent and asked to sign this week adds/modifies the previously referenced paragraph.

This is not the middle or part of another document, it is a change in a document you signed and put in the file you keep for all of your agreements unless you are like me and have a separate file for every SS or TC you work for and put it there.

Good luck with your decision.

Re: Please read this carefully and

I received the same thing from Title Source. I read the complete document that was sent. One portion stated:
Title and Closing Services and Vendor Management Services.

"Supplier shall not hire notary and signing agent subcontractors who have not either obtained certification by the National Notary Association (“NNA”) or have had a successful background check by the Supplier using materially similar criteria as the NNA screening process. If the NNA changes its screening criteria from those in effect on the date hereof as, shown on its website at www.nationalnotary.org, or if applicable law or regulations so require, JPMC may amend this requirement, provided however that JPMC shall not require that Supplier amend its acts or practices on a retroactive basis, except as required by NNA or applicable law or regulation."

Just FYI.

Re: Please read this carefully and

Maybe you don't know how to manipulate/maneuver around this forum or how to post. Let's assume you do.
That would mean your post is directed at/to me. If so.....I will simply say. I don't sign any agreements because I have found that there is a definite relationship between a SS creditability and the number of pages in their "agreements".

Second with regard to this statement, "unless you are like me and have a separate file for every SS or TC you work for and put it there", I don't understand what you're talking about?

Finally, my purpose on this forum is to stay enlightened, share information and communicate with peers,.....I don't know what yours is.

Re: Please read this carefully and

Mr. Leibowitz-thank you greatly for clarifying this (although I don't know how you would have figured this out because the email states nothing at all about it being an amendment to paragraph 7 of the original agreement which I DO in fact have a copy of, as I do all my contracts so I was able to pull it out and see exactly what you were referring to) and you are absolutely correct ...this was from Title Source, not TRG. Again, thanks so much NR members!
