Toner Cartridges-LD Prod., Monoprice, another? Experience?
Hope this cryptic subject line gets some answers. Had been ordering from LD Products with no complaints, but then the NR community began commenting that their quality had gone down, so ordered from another NR community-suggested co.--Monoprice.
Yesterday, got a whole 135 pages out of a new Monoprice cartridge before it started printing horizontal lines 3 per page. The 2nd Monoprice cartridge seems to be OK... at least, I've printed a few more than 135 pages from it as of today.
Any new comments or recommendations on suppliers for cartridges from this group?

Not new but I've said it before..
I just injketstar.com and, in over 5 years I've had one issue - and David replaced it immediately.
Not sure what kind of printer you have, but I pay $65 for two cartridges for my Brother MFC-8460n - page yield 7500 per cartridge; for my HP, it's $48.00 for one or $93.00 for two, page yield 5000 pages. Flat shipping rate of $4.99 for all U.S. orders and they're quick.
I've very pleased with them.

Re: LINKYO
My only comment RE: Linkyo brand or company...I ordered from LD Proucts and got a generic branded box ( 1- TN 650 ) and a LINKYO branded box with a TN 360. If it's good enough for LD to resell, I'd think the Linkyo brand must be OK.

I struggle getting compatible & re-manufactured...
toners. I don't seem to have any luck with them, plus I was told that they destroy your printers. It's purported that HP, in particular, has a "different, special" (for lack of a better description) toner. It's finer and higher end.
Okay, so I'm not gullible. Of course the manufacturing company wants you to only purchase OEM's. But, wth? I don't know any different. Is it true? I just believe that if I stick to OEM's at least I know (ok, well, at least feel a bit more confident), that I have taken measures to insure the printer's longevity.
It appears to me that compatible & re-manufactured toners tend to leak toner all over. And the paper doesn't seem to be as clean and crisp. Additionally, they don't last nearly as long. I have two HP's and two Brother's.
Comments?

Never had that problem Cheryl
Am running an old HP2200 with remanufactured cartridge and my Brother AIO - no issues except the one time...one issue five years, IMO, is a pretty good track record.

I went back to LD Products. I ordered only once from
Monoprice & shipping wasn't free. I wasn't all that impressed.

Me, too - and so far, so good.
In fact, I just ordered another one last week. It was shipped via UPS, but arrived with one side of the box bashed in and taped up. I called LD products to let them know. They noted my file, so if I have any problems with it, they'll give me a credit - plus they can complain to UPS. I also ordered another replacement, just in case, and they gave me the same deal they were offering last week, with a 10% discount plus free shipping. I got the replacement the next day.
So they are back on my good list. (And BTW, I was one of the ones who posted negative info about them back when...)
As for non-OEM cartridges potentially damaging an HP printer, the ones I buy have the "genuine HP" circuit card and I've had no printing problems. For what I save in a year on toner cartridges by going through LD Products, etc., I figure I could buy a brand new printer. (Actually, I bought the one I have used, so two cartridges would be more than enough savings to cover getting a replacement of the same printer - an HP 2430dtn.) Well worth the risk, imo!

Aaaaah...okay..."Me, too - and so far, so good."
However, the few times that I did order from LD, I definitely had problems. Not sure why. Those were the ones that I had the leaky toner, low page print count...I just don't seem to trust them.
But this is just my experience. I've seen a lot of people say good things about LD on this website.
I probably wouldn't ever use them again.

Amazon's price on a compatible HP C7115X is so cheap
that I am afraid to try it. I don't use my 3330 very much any more (just copies and faxing). Amazon's price is about 1/2 of what LD charges. Any experience with that?

I have been ordering from Monoprice - even with paying for shipping it's still cheaper than with LD and I receive the exact same cartridge as LD sells - the white box with the rainbow on it. I had an issue with one cartridge and Monoprice took care of it immediately and to my satisfaction, just the way LD has done when I've had a problem with their cartirdges.
One issue I have experienced with both Monoprice and LD, I will install a newly remanufactured cartridge with new chip, and my HP 2430tn printer will still give me the messsage that toner is low. However, if I use the cartridge I still get the normal use out of it, which is approximately 8500 pages on an 11X cartridge. So I have learned to just ignore the message, keep track of the page count to know when the cartridge is nearing the end of its usage, and smile at my savings. I have used remanufactured toner carts for years from LD and now from Monoprice - have not had any issues with it harming my printer.
I have tried ordering toner carts from sellers on Amazon and I did NOT have a good experience with that.
