Well Hello there Mr Sunshine!
I get to my closing this morning about 5 minutes late. I had called to confirm and get directions... probably my first mistake... Are you past the interstate? "no".. so after calling and getting directions (again)... over the interstate I go ... I find the home. Yay!
Well it seems Mr Sunshine is bent about so many things, my being late didn't help. He cursed the Settlement Statement but signed.
We get to the warranty deed ..."why isn't my name first?" Mr Bo yells. Now I've gotten this before if the mrs name is listed first and my canned answer to the order of names is always " because she's prettier". Or if the man is first and the lady is questioning the order, I say "It's whoever is taller". Usually this works, they lighten up and keeps peace and they sign away.
This morning, after my "because she's prettier" response, I got a very loud B*ll Sh*t from Mr Sunshine.
Mrs Bo was very pretty, pleasant and gainfully employed, I'm thinking why is she with this bozo???
They continued to sign and Mr Sunshine actually lightened up.
I guess it's cultural. If Mrs Bo spent anytime anywhere else, she would know what she has to offer and how she should be treated. If Mr Bo spent anytime in a big city... he would crumble...
