3 Star Rating

How do you get a 3 star rating with 6 comments, 2 of them with 3 stars and 4 with one star?
Mathematically that doesn't come out right...should be 1 1/2 stars. No wonder some notaries get ripped off, the star rating doesn't track correctly.

I've never paid much attention to the stars.

I read the comments posted by other notaries & make my decision accordingly.

I check the stars - I also check who GAVE the star rating

too many 4-5 star ratings from the same state as the company has me going "hmmmm"....

Conversely - one 1-star rating among many 3 or 4 or 5's tells me "sour grapes"

It's the reason given for the rating that counts. Pays slow is a 3 rstar ating for me. But pays $90.00, pays 45 days, gotta call and remind the about previous invoice are all 3 star ratings too. Pays in 45 days would be the "issue" for me, not $90.00 or reminder call.

To me that woud be a 2 star rating or even a 1 star. I don't appreciate having to remind a client to pay me according to their policy. Do they pay their employees late? I think not!
