What do you do when there is page 4 of 4 but not 1, 2, or 3 of 4 in the documents?

Call the person/company you received it from and tell them that pages 1, 2 & 3 are missing. I've had missing pages in loan docs before because of scanning errors. Sometimes they just resend that page or pages to the borrower (if no notarization is required); other times I've gone back to have they sign the document in question.

Depending on the nature of the loan, sometimes all the pages are not necessary. Best to check, though.

Re: 4 of 4 - NO for California

In CA, that is an incomplete doc and the Notary cannot notarize the client's signature. All pages need to be present to scan for blank spaces that need information (if applicable).

Re: 4 of 4 - NO for California

I love when I see a 1003 pages numbered like this: 5 of 4, and 6 of 4.

Depends ........

On if I printed the docs or not. First thing I do is review the file on my computer screen to be sure my printer did not hiccup. Sometimes, I have found them there and just had to print a couple of pages more. Then I check with the people that hired me if I can't clear it up.
