Are there any NC Notaries still awake?
or anyone that can help me? In the almost 10 years I have been a Notary, I have never had to do a signing for a property located in NC. I have a question about the Deed of Trust Notarial Wording. It says "Mark affixed by ______________ in the presence of the undersigned Notary" What goes in the blank? Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Don't know about NC, but I'll guess BO's name goes there. n/m

Just guessing as it is late: Mark referring to signature, so it would be whoever is signing? But, if you are in CA, wouldn't you use your ack?

Re: Yes, I am using my California Ack..
just curious about what would go there since I have never seen this wording before. Thanks for your help. :-)

I wasn't awake but am now!
That wording is not standard for NC, but I have seen it before. The name of the person whose signature is being notarized would go in the blank.
