Kudos to the Signing Services with Automated Reporting Systems. It is so much more efficient for the notary to close out online.

Agreed. I just love (not) the instructions that say call this #...and then you get tangled in some complicated VM system anyway or have to listen to 14 'if you are this/that, dial another #'...notary statusing a signing is always way down that list.

Online is quicker and you can print the final status page as 'proof', if so inclined.

I agree that the online reporting is SO much easier.

And have you noticed that the lower paying services are the ones who give you 5 minutes of instructions on the order in which you are to report the status over the phone, which they want done almost while you're walking out the borrower's door? And not to an 800 number, so you get to pay for time to report to get paid at some future date.

I love the automated systems, especially the

one's that are connected to the coffee site. I like going to download the docs & the completion reports are simple & straightforward. Also, no need to invoice through that system. It's great! I've always said I wished EVERY co. used that platform. :-)

Yes, I love the coffee system as well. An investment in this type of system is wise.

The coffee system is the best..Easy, quick, no invoicing..Don't have to punch in a bunch of numbers while attempting to get to the car for the next closing..Because some companies want you to call in a completion within as little as an hour or get penalized..lol
