Daniel Ruggiero Law Firm

Has anyone knowledge of this law firm or under the name Columbia Law firm? I was called to do a debt resolution and don't know if it is on the up and up.
Thanks

Don't know if its the same one or not, but I do a lot of those for Columbia Law Center. They are based in Las Vegas. Pay is fair and they pay in an acceptable amout of time.

i don't know the firm but if you have to collect money or post dated checks up front it is in most states illegal......

These companies tend to dance around the law. I just turned back one after I got the docs and saw it was a debt relief signing. They said 'settlement'~~ However, collect no money or post-dated checks... Nah...they just have 'em sign an AutoPay from their checking acct. Ugh.
Not saying this co. does that as I don't know, but they all seem to have 'their ways'.

I agree, Lee. I prefer to just stay away from all of them. Not that I've been looking, but I've yet to hear about any of these companies that appear to really be soley concerned with the best interests of the indebted person. If someone can't afford to pay their bills, they don't have money to be paying these companies to negotiate for them - and there are non-profit services out there who CAN help people with that.
