Do NOT use Atlantic Bonding Co. for commission renewal

They cashed my check on 9/16 for my notary stamp renewal and e/o insurance but never submitted my application to the state or provided the insurance. I try to contact them via telephone and the message machine is full,fax does not answer and of course, no response from email. The State of Florida has removed them from their approved vendor list. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the Florida Attorney General's office. There were 7 other complaints against this company prior to mine at the Atty. General's office. If anyone else has been taken by this company, please file a complaint. Florida's website is www.myfloridalegal.com

Why not try Notary Rotary for your renewal?

They provided excellent service when I renewed my commission last year.

Florida has removed them from their approved list. They have many reports filed against them at the BBB and Florida Attorney General's Office for not producing notary stamps, bonds and e/o insurance to clients after they took their money.

It took me 6 weeks and an extra $20 to get my stamp and certificate from that clown. I finally got someone to answer the phone 6 days aafter I threatened him with the state. I talked to the state and they were in the process of doing something about it. (When I finally got him on the phone at 8:30am on a Thursday morning he sounded like he was drunk. Maybe yes, maybe no. I'm just sayin') I understand there are also some discrepancies with him to do with PA. I just want to know if I'm still good with my bond if they shut him down? P.S. I've used that company since the late 80's and never ever anything like this. It cost me a preferred status with my largest client with the failure to produce my certificate quickly.
