E/O insurance increase

Spoke to my insurance agt. who says that the E/O rates may be going up next year... A LOT, maybe dbl. or more. Since I need it for both Notary and Real Estate this could mean a huffty increase. Has any one else heard this.
??? Lowball s/s may have to pay $42.50 for a signing package vs their $40.00 offers....

I haven't, but then again, I think I went through the NNA... I'm in FL.

I just renewed my E&O this week with no increase for the 2nd year. My policy is not notary public specific however it covers "Notary Public Activites". It satisfies the most persnickity of lenders and title cos, including Provident, and is more broad based than my notary public only E&O. (unless you have an insurance license, you can't get it)

So, unless your agent is family or a close friend, I would shop around. That way you can keep those fees low. Wink
