Genuine Title called me to do an

application signing in August. I was driving and did not clearly here their name and when I got home and discovered it was Genuine Title I called them to cancel. I was told that if I sent my invoice to Jay (their owner) I would be paid promptly. I did the signing and emailed my invoice to Jay. Payment was received within 2 weeks. Then they called for the closing, which was on the last day to close last month. I have to admit that I was skeptical but I did it and again emailed my invoice to Jay ([e-mail address]) and payment was again sent in a timely manor. I don't care if Safar is the signing agent manager as long as I get my FEE and PAID within 30 days. I for one will continue to accept assignments from Genuine Title, that meet my fee and where I am paid promptly. I think Jay now realizes that we are his bread and butter and if he is going to make money he has to treat us with the respect and professionalism we deserve. Jay, if you read this, pay a fair fee for the closing and continue to pay us promptly and you will make lots of money. Ok. Let the comments begin...

Good Post. I think that is great Dennis, and I wish you continued success with getting payment.

Now, looking at S/C and all the negative comments (over twenty) only four are from your state. Looking at the zip code on your profile shows less then 12 notaries (basic and premium members) which tells me he better pay you if he wants to keep his business going.

Some of us have over one hundread notaries in a single zip code, easy pickens if you want to skip paying a notary.

I hope you put your comment in S/C so others will see how great they are and who to contact for payment. Again, great post.

Good for you Dennis! I recently received a call from Notary Direct (so/so rating in SC) I accepted the assignment until I saw "Genuine Title" was involved. Unfortunately I am still owed for 1 signing I did back in June for Genuine. "Shannon" was the scheduler for that June signing and told me she was from Genuine, send her the invoice direct, etc. Here it is October and I am still chasing my $. I refuse to work for Genuine Title, or anyone associated (relying on payment to pass on to me!) with them!

Not here Dennis...in the comments section on S/C

Dennis, if you put this in S/C people will see this everything they look them up. Just posting it here, will do no good if a person is fairly new. IMO

I am happy it worked out for you. I accepted a signing from Genuine/Safir Signing in August and I'm still waiting for payment. Either they don't respond to me or give me different lies. I won't work for them again. I wish I had been in touch with Jay as you did.

Re: Genuine Title

I had done several closings for them in the past, always skeptical but having always been paid (although pretty late), I would work with them on occasion. I even posted a positive comment on Notary Rotary stating this ... and here I am months later, and now have 2 closings from months ago that are overdue and I cannot get ANYONE at the company to talk to me about my invoices. I saw your comments above and sent Jay a message. I'm hoping he has a conscience and will make good on these. If he does, I'll be sure to post again. For all of us who are in the same situation, we should make sure to be contacting the Title Companies on each order they owe us for, and to contact the Better Business Bureau to report them as well. Otherwise, they will continue the bad business practices they use. -Sue

You don't visit this board very often, do you, Sue?

Or if you do, you sure don't pay attention to what you see.
