Global Notary
I keep getting random emails from this company telling me that there are available appointments in my area. All of them specify a $60 fee, no matter if the signing is down the road, or just now, 50 miles away. The email goes on to say that if I want this assignment, to give them a call. Not once have they ever given me a call.
Um, huh?
I took the iniative and searched SC but the comments and opinions just this year are all over the place from negative to lukewarm to positive.
Aside from the constant holding of your hand through the entire process and the constant calling even from the signing (which I think is disrespectful and rude to the borrower). if I ask for a higher fee, say at least $125, have they been known to accept (and pay) it?

I have worked with Global Notary since 2003. The highest they will pay for edocs is $90.00. Call them and ask for Joshua. (877-535-3888). They have never paid me $125.00. They, Global Notary, makes anywhere from $125.00 to $150.00 per closing. So if you can get them to settle on $90 per closing then you make more money than they do. Tell Joshua thats what your fee is and he will make sure you get it. The reason why you get an email is because they do not have your current phone number. They were doing that to me until I gave them my phone number. So now they call me when they need me. I have had really good luck with Global thru the years. However, you are right about them calling you in a closing. I just turn my volume down and call them when I am done.
