IPhone new operating system upgrade

For members who have IPhones, the operating system upgrade is available free at the ITune store. It takes two hours to upgrade so I set it up early this morning and it completed without a hitch.

One of the cool things is it backs up everything automatically so if it's on your phone, you got via ICloud.

It also has a lot of new security features. One for example, if you lose your phone, you can access the ITune store via your computer and after putting in you password, it will show you where your phone is via a MAP!

My son's took about 1 1/2 hrs and my daughters took right at an hr. Guess I'll do mine this evening when I'm watching the Cardinals beat the Brewers.

I stayed awake for nothing monitoring it. 1/2 way thru my virus scan program took off (I didn't disable it) and I freaked! Everything just went off without a hitch. I was even able to piggyback onto my wife WiFi account (no she wouldn't give me her password) so now I can "facetime" anybody who has it.

Think carefully if you want to use the iCloud features. I have turned them off on my wife's iPhone. Why?

All your data that flows between your iPhone and computer is "out there". ICloud has already had a minor hacking incident. As the service grows in popularity, you can expect hacking attempts to increase.
