Pacific Documents Services

I accepted 2 signings from this company back in July...and no, I didn't check them out!
Waited the customary 30 days, then started calling paul gambs...geez, it's like dealing with a used car salesman!
(The check's in the mail)
Anyway, on my way to download info for small claims court, I e-mailed New American Funding and apparently Scott Voyles...paul's buddy...doesn't work for them anymore.
Got Cory who said that they are paying notaries instead of waiting, then got a call from an Erin Forbes who told me to e-mail her my invoice..BTW they no longer do business with paul or his group and they are going to file a small claims suit against him!
Hopefully this is on the up and up.

Good for you topflyt! Glad that you got a hold of someone at New American Funding that will help you/pay you. And also good for you for planning to file small claims instead of just writing it off. I'm sure you will be checking out future companies before doing the job - a lesson we all have learned.

I think it would be a good idea to check out every company when you take an assignment. Granted, you may be in your car or not have immediate access to a computer when you get the call but that doesn't stop you from checking it out before you get the Docs (IMO). You can always give it back!

Absolutely! I have given some back after I accept the assignment and discover that it's a no-no company. I also utilize caller ID with a "NO!" in front of the company's name, so when they call again in the future I don't even waste my time answering.

Gambling with Gambs

Why, that probably is the nicest thing anybody ever said about Paul Gambs!

Re: Gambling with Gambs

This jerk still has 2 stars on signing central...Might I suggest that all that have been scammed by this deadbeat enter their ratings on signing central and drive him down to 1?

Perhaps that will keep anyone else from taking any work from him?

And there are probably one or two decent used car salesmen around the country...so to them, I apologize for putting gambs in your group! He's probably more like a snake oil salesman.

Hey watch it, my son is a car salesman. lol

He's too young to know how to be put in that category YET. lol And, I must say he is doing quite well. Not just because he's my son, but he's a pretty honest kid. Hey, he's a college grad and that's all he can find at the moment and at least he's got a job. He's one of the lucky kids out there.

Hey, Linda

I'm sure we all want to see our college educated kids running their own companies, making millions of $$, but there's nutin' wrong with being a car salesman! As long as they have their degree, they're good to go, in my opinion.

Fact is, my daughter has a degree in economics from the University of California, and right after graduation she stayed at her part-time job as a server with this restaurant (where she made gobs of $$), and the rest of the staff were teachers, a lawyer, a part-time veterinarian, and plenty of liberal arts grads. It was the most erudite serving staff! And from what I can tell, not that unlike many other restaurant staffs. When they advertised an opening earlier this year, they had 300 applicants, many of whom were out of work professionals.

It's a new day, a new time. This is not the economy we knew at their age.

Has anyone had any success with getting Carrington Mortgage to pay you directly for the deals Paul is not paying? They knew Paul wasn't paying people yet they kept giving him Loan Mods. They will be sued too.

I am in the process of creating an interactive website where we can all help each other a bit more effectively with our Paul Gambs problems.
