I have NEVER had a problem with them paying.
Call and leave a message, or email them. I find that email works best. No need to be worked up, just state the problem. They reference their jobs by order number, so include that. I also always include a tracking number whenever I am trying to get paid by anyone, then I have proof that I was there and shipped signed documents. If a job gets missed in a check from PLS, when I point it out, they have always corrected it and sent me the money on the next check. Don't panic, I am sure this will work out.

I have done several closings for this outfit without a problem. However, the last one (in October 2011) involved a reverse mortgage package of almost 300 pages and a 32 mile trip, for $125. Then, bec they had several wrong akas shown for the borrower,(which he declined to provide a signature for!), I had to make a trip back to the borrower so he could provide his same two regular signatures (for one aka with his middle initial, and one without the middle initial.) No missed notarizations, no missed required signatures or initials on all loan docs, no missed faxes back or missed tracking number etc. etc... I get my check today (11-18), for $110. So I was "fined" $15 for not having the 2 aka signatures, for name variations he did acknowledge were his, within the original package (although I provided the aka sheet prior to the expiration of the 3-day waiting period, so the loan couldn't have "officially" closed or funded anyway. )
Of course, did I get any compensation for the time I spent waiting on documents for a closing I had accepted (after having turned away another closing I could have taken bec I already had this one scheduled), , when the borrower had apparently cancelled the appointment and no one at PLS bothered to advise me? And of course, I couldn't contact anyone at PLS bec it was on a weekend and their office was closed. I only learned the borrower wasn't available when I called to tell her I would be late bec the documents hadn't arrived yet.
I work very very hard to be the consumate professional with both the lender and the borrower, and to make sure everything absolutely essential is performed correctly and promptly. But this little nickle and dime punishment seems a bit over the top, and is pretty much the last straw for me with this company.
