Pro Mobile Notary
If you get a call from Howard for a signing, I would not hesitate to accept , I have now completed 3 signings for them, they pay in 21days do not require fax backs and do not need to bill them, the whole process is very easy. Not mention that they pay a good rate for the signing. They are in northern Cal, but they are nationwide, check out their site at www.promobilenotary.com Mario Notary signing agent Marin County.

You mentioned everything except that good "pay rate". Did he ( Mr. Blum) tell you to post this? BTW, if a SS is great Mario, word will spread like wildfire.
Make sure you add this to S/C so he can keep his five star rating. Personally I don't think what he pays is a good rate.

I wasted about 5 minutes looking at his (Mr. Blum) web site …tells me NOTHING. What I need to know is what he pays for a std e-mail loan package and who if anybody will recommend him? Not his relatives or someone that has never done a closing or knows what a closing is. Mr. Blum what are your credentials? There are thousands of us ‘out here’ wanting to work for someone honest, and ligament.

Just use the link on the company profile - takes you right
to their homepage.

I've done a couple for Howard, also. He may not be the *best* paying - just slightly more than most decent signing services pay these days - but he's certainly not in the low-ball range (at least $XXX). [It may still be low for SF area, but it's reasonably competitive in my area.]
I've had some recent communication with him and learned he's very involved in other activities within our industry in addition to his ss, so I doubt he would waste time asking anyone to post a positive message about him. (Just my gut impression.)
At this point, I wouldn't hesitate to accept other work from him, either.

When Howard approached me March 2010, he had an Independent Contractor Agreement he wanted me to sign. Following is what blew the talks out of the water:
COMPENSATION: As full compensation for the services rendered pursuant to this Agreement, the Company shall pay the Contractor at the rate of 70% of fees collected by the Company from the entity invoiced for the services rendered. Such compensation shall be payable within three (3) business days of receipt payment of invoices for services rendered.
I asked him about that 70% and he was firm with that. If the hiring entity paid him $100, then notary would get $75; if hiring entity paid him $200, then notary would get $140; and so on. He did indicate he would always try to get top dollar. But, c'mon! The way everyone out there is trying to lower all our fees, I didn't feel comfortable agreeing to his terms.
I've never worked with him. Don't know if he's changed his operating procedure since we spoke. I am, however, glad for those who've worked with him and still have positive reviews about him!

I just figured I could always say no to any offer if it happened to be from a lower paying client and if my 70% share was less than I could accept for the assignment in question. Fortunately, not every ss is negotiating with their clients based on price alone (as Yoli well knows ). Each ss has their own way of establishing their business plans and I don't really care how they get to their numbers, as long as it's something I can work with. BTW, I don't think I've ever completed his ICA, as I seldom fill those out.

Howard is great to work with in my opinion and no payment problems at all.
