Prolink Signing Services

I got a call tonite from Prolink Signing Services, a 4 star company to do a refi for $65.00. I turned it down. How can they pay this amount and get a 4 star rating?? Some people must be really desperate.

John - I'm assuming borrower had the docs and there was no printing involved. My experience is that Prolink will pay $100 for an e-doc refi (or sellers docs, too) but when we don't print, they knock off $35! They always get huffy when I point this out to them. One time I got them to $75, which is bad enough, but now I don't even bother. I just say no. After all, the travel, the time and the work involved are just as much as a regular signing. But they apparently get plenty of notaries to work for that.

Actually they were going to overnight the docs to me. I do not go out the door, no matter what, for less than $100. If you are familiar with the San Diego area, at certain times it can take 1 or more hours to go 25 miles. I am sure they found someone to take the job. As far as I am concerned, whomever took it will lose money if they actually know their costs. Too bad that so many do not know what it costs to do business. Whatever, their loss.
