Title Resource Group

Just wondering if any of you have done any work for these people. I don't do a whole lot but do when I have the time. They always paid $100. I did a closing for them 10/17/2011, got paid the usual $100. They called yesterday to do a closing for tonight and Anna said the fee was $85. I blew my top. I asked why I got paid $100 for the day before and now for this one $85. After emails and calls back and forth she said the reason I got paid the $100 because it was a rush job. Which it really wasn't. They called on Friday for closing Monday. I told her I would not work for them anymore for $85. I am going to go and give them a bad review. What is with signing company these days lowering their fees? One of my borrowers asked me how much I made per closing. When I told him $100, he said I was being grossly underpaid. He is a notary himself is the reason I did tell him. Now they want to pay $85? Grrrrrrr. Your thoughts.

Had almost the identical scenario as you early this year (see Msg #374937). Except I was getting $125 and then this one coordinator offered $85 and wouldn't budge. After several emails back and forth, she said she was taking me off their data base and I haven't heard from them since.

Aw well, seems like they haven't changed their tactics.

Re: Title Resource Group same experience as Yoli

I've done close to 300 for them last three years always paid 7 -10 days, $110 -$125 then,,sorry, we're only paying $85.00 now.

Stephanie. Mercedes both made adjustments to $100.00 once then set on $85.00. They ADDED, and we need the Docs faxed back before shipping.

I told her that it was unacceptable and we would both get over it.....and I wished them luck. It was nice while it lasted.

They took me off their preferred notary list just like they did with Yoli.

They are losing all their good and experienced notaries. But I guess that is their problem. I didn't do enough for them to really miss them. I did give them a bad review. I hope that everyone reads this and quits them.

Favorite number now seems to be 85 or 90 with edocs. They start with...no faxbacks which let's you know what is coming next.

Similar experience here. I have noticed a few companies are offering lower pay. I live in a very rural area and it is not worth the trouble to take anything less than $100.

They used to pay $150 at one time. I won't take anything less than $100 from them, as most requests are last minute. At least their loan packages are small and they've always paid in about 7 days. Their website can be annoying though-too much resetting passwords and revalidations.

I sounds like our experiences are all different.

TRG continues to call me and pay me the same fee ($$$) as before and the packages are still small. Although, every once in awhile I'll get a scheduler that wants to pay $$, but always changes it back to $$$.

Maybe someone can explain why there is such a variance in fees from the same company.

Re: I sounds like our experiences are all different.

I asked that same question and got a variety of answers. The low offers appear to come from the West coast section/dept....CCS. The people on the N.J East coast are more flexible. I also noticed that they have different work groups, pods with different Supervisors sending out different message.

When I asked one scheduler why the difference, they told me "because they act like the money is theirs and not the borrowers"
