for people trying to collect-this works so good and is so cheap. Send a demand letter saying you will file in small claims on such and such a date if you are not paid. Send it "certified" mail saying that this is your demand letter - which IS the first requirement of small claims court. The key is address the letter to a real person. if it is a signing company- you will be suing the person that made the call requesting your services. If it is a title co. address it to the EO or assistant that hired you- you will get a phone cal within 30 min. of the letter delivery...it works so good I can't stand it. I just got a phone call from the Title company who had ignored; emails, fax and 2 invoices. They told me my invoice had been " missed" and a check will be going out in a few days. This is the 3rd time I have used this tactic and so far I am 100% getting my $$$. Wink)

Re: I love magic! Thanks and Congrats!

Last month I used a demand letter for the first time..You are right within minutes..I was contacted about payment. This was for a settlement co, they begged me not to follow through with what I stated I would do. I was assured the check will be in the mail and sure enough 2 days later I got paid.

The rep I was dealing with used to work for a collection agency collecting from corporations and she told me what she would do to get paid..Jam their emails and fax machines until someone replied..Glad I didn't have to do that!
