Loan Aps that run 100 pages. Are you charging the same for a loan ap as a refi?

Got called yesterday to do an app right here in my town. She said they pay $50. I hesitated then asked her how many pages it was. She said 80 and I said no way. She too thought that was a lot and said she would get back to me to make sure it wasn't the entire loan too. Still waiting.

American Bank most likely. I just don't understand the need for an 80 page "application" and then 99% of the same docs 2 weeks later for the final closing.
