  BTW...
  I always save that odious Statement of Information form -  the one where they have to fill out every last drop of informtion about themselves -  to the very last.  While they're filling that out, trying to remember when they got married, or the birthdates of all their kids, or the date of their divorce - it's a great time to check the docs for missing stuff.

  The "SI last" is also my fav for creating time to proofread.  If no SI, a customer service survey form will also do the trick.
  Customers never complain when told you need to review the docs one last time.  I think you actually gain a few brownie points in their eyes and 100% of them will sit patiently and watch you.

  You're right on...Don.
  Just today I did a signing for an FDIC Bank Examiner.
  While he did the customer service survey.....I went thru the docs.
  I got to the NOTE..and lo and behold he initialed the signature page..but forgot to sign it.
  He was embarassed and his non-borrowing wife gave him a hard time.
