Bluetooth device for car

I noticed Best Buys has a Jabra Bluetooth device on sale for $39.99 and was wondering if anyone has used this speakerphone in their car? Is this a good choice or are there better hands-free style devices available?

Yeah, I like Motorala, too. Except I like the Motorola H680 from Amazon at $16, instead of any Motorola product at $63. It's my second one. What I <don't> like is Best Buy, where poor customer service is an affirmative company policy. Best Buy doesn't even pay lip service to customer service. Take the worst aspects of minimum wage American labor, fold in the communication problems of off-shore customer service, and then add a generous dollop of plain old don't give a sh!t about customers, and you have the beginnings of Best Buy customer service.

Sorry to hear that. I got great service the last two recent visits to Best Buy. However I do remember going in at Christmas and it was pretty BAD! I don't particularly like the big warehouse stores but that seems to be where you get such good buys.

I HIGHLY recommend this one: http://www.myblueant.com/products/speakerphones/s4/

My hubby has it and absolutely LOVES it! It is TOTALLY handsfree - making and receiving calls is by voice so you never have to touch it or your phone. As soon as you get in the car, it instantly turns on and syncs with your phone's contact list. I have the Blueant T1 which is the bluetooth earpiece and it is also voice activated. We recommended it to a friend and she loves it too. It's worth every penny.

To add....

At Best Buy, hubby paid 79.99 - not 99.00 that the 2nd video claims.. It's been a few months since he bought it so it may be cheaper than the 79.99 he paid.

You forgot to mention the most important part, it plays you music from your IPod in the car or in the house too.

I use the Jabra SP 700. It also will transmit through the car FM radio if you wish. It's useful when you get tired of the blather on the radio. You can just play the MP3 portion of your phone through the radio. Have had it for 4 years now, no issues and goes a long time on one charge.

PS, agree with Hugh on Best Buy except it sounds like

he got better customer service than I did the last, and I do mean the LAST time I was in. It must be his charming personality and his good looks.

mechanical skills of a nerd. > have contacted Appple, IBM,

HP, RIM, Motorola, and all other manufacturers of eleconic devices with a great idea . Even told them
that could use it for free and not even give me credit.
Any device sold with insturctions in excess of one page of large type should include a necessary device in the package....

A TWELVE YEAR OLD KID TO SHOW YOU HOW TO USE THE SILLY THING.

I am tired of having to go to my grandson, who starts off each help session with
"Oh, GAGA, its eassy......."

Re: mechanical skills of a nerd. > have contacted Appple, IBM,

Bob, I know what you mean.

In my office I have a laptop, PC, 2 Brother MfC printers, and last month my son put Netflix to stream programs through the computer so I can watch them on my TV.

I told him that for the 1st time I think I am actually over my head with technology and he isn't to move out of Calif or I'll hunt him down.

I am going to get an Apple phone this week and I told him to clear his schedule and be in the store with me when I purchase it!!
I want to purchase the "square up app" so I can take credit cards for public notary work.

Re: Thanks for the help

Easy. The "pairing" operation is function is more of an operation of the phone than the Jabra. The procedure varies a little by phone brand, but everyone I have done was easy.

Blue Ants are super easy to pair with your mobile device.
