Everyone seems to have changed?

It used to be that when a title company called you, it was great news to do a signing for them. Now they are getting into the game and low balling me. Don't they know I read the HUD and can see they are profiting off me. I was told I must be the only one who has'nt aggreed to lower my fees. Oh, no yes I am trying to be competive. But I won't work for free!! Anyone else having these issues? Here is what the conversations may be like. Hi, Hi, my fee, oh, really what ever you feel is fairl Really its ok "!!! My real answer is "don't let the hair color fool ya!!!!lol...................

Yes, it seems they are all going to low ball offers. I am like you, I won't lower my fees. But it seems that these low paying signings are being snatched up, and hurting the ones of us who stick to our guns in the process.

I'm afraid the practice of low balling, seems to be the norm

nowadays. And some TC's have joined the low-ball bandwagon!

I've seen how these low ball TC's entice BO's with an unrealistic estimate of "low title fees", but end up squeezing out every dollar they've got! The proof is on the HUD.

Some TC's even charge a separate "Closing Fee" , sometimes listed above the "Notary Fee", and yep, their fee are MORE than the NSA closing fee!

Bottom line, NOTHING surprises me anymore in this biz. Good luck to you...

Go to yard sales or buy a car lately Kimmy?

If so do you pay whatever the nice person selling that George Foreman grill wants? Or do you when buying a car pay MSRP and whatever other additional fee the seller wants without a question?

The point of this is that everybody is trying to squeeze that last dollar out of every transaction, that includes us, and every negotiation with every scheduler that calls. They are not questioning your intelligence or if today's hair color belies your abilities, they are doing the exact same thing you are, and that is trying to finish up a negotiation that's benefits them.
