For those that like to believe that only Repub candidates make gaffes ... Here are a few from our president.

Re: Wrong forum, Chris

Stop apologizing already. Accidents happen. It was entertaining! Odd that the one who made the biggest political gaffe on this sight is the only one to point out your error. Don't worry about it! And good grief. Why are people 'offended' so much any more?

Back off, Belinda

*And good grief. Why are people 'offended' so much any more?***

There was no animosity pertaining to this post till you showed up. Chris made a mistake, he acknowled it and tried to correct it -- which, incidentally, was exactly what I did when I made the same mistake twice. Nobody, to my knowledge, was offended, nobody was irked, everybody was cool with the issue till you popped up.

I get offended by political posts that are deliberately placed in the wrong forum -- a practice that is most commonly found among those of a particular political mindset.

The only "grief" attached to this post, "good" or otherwise, is that which you have brought to the thread. You don't like the rules of the forum, start your own forum.

Back off? Good grief. How

did you get all that out of my post? And, like I said later, my response wasn't even supposed to be right by yours. Cool your jets. The end.

Giggle

I posted no animosity. Sure brought some out in you though.
I merely encouraged the poster to relax. Mistakes happen. Chill pill time.

Asking for help to remove it.

Again, I apologize for posting this on the Work board (and this weekend of all times to post on the wrong board).

I have reported the OP myself and asked that it be removed for political content. I am asking that everyone else also report it so that it might be deleted as quickly as possible. TIA

Stop apologizing :o)

My above post was supposed to go here, not where it went. Oops.

I, for one, appreciated the sincere apology and the heads up

...and I agree with Hugh that it was an honest mistake. Also, I like being able to have enough info to choose to read it or not.

Every now and then, I either get bored or have a lapse in good sense and venture over to JP. Some of the nastiness I've read over there surprises me and shows a side of some people (whom I otherwise respect) that I could do without. Most of the time, I'd rather not clutter my head with all those negatives, so I really like the fact that the ugliness politics seems to bring out in some people these days is relegated to another, separate forum.

People may complain about this board from time to time, but it's a much nicer place since politics was eliminated from here, imo.

I agree wholeheartedly. I've tried to show those JPol habitues (and sons of habitues) the error of their ways, but they just don't seem to want to shape up. Even though I practice my usual patience and forebearance, they act like constipated rattlesnakes. It's a puzzle.
