NREIS has a variety of either subsidiaries or affiliates or companies they contract with for scheduling. They tend to be associated with different lender clients, as well, and some of them actually pay pretty much like they used to, twice a month, so I regularly accept assignments from a different one of them that I know will have smallish, easy packages. (I don't think I have any receivables from them that are more than two weeks old, after the check I got this past week.)
Unfortunately, I learned this week that their schedulers don't always know who they're scheduling for - or maybe they're not being honest about it. I accepted one last week that I was told was from those same group of companies, but it turned out to be actually from NREIS themselves. The package was a reasonable size, but I'll be interested to see how long it takes to get paid on that one... BTW, one of the schedulers told me that they now have a new owner. I have no idea if that is true or not.
